We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1046255 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our food service team to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English or French language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We provide support for social and labor market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including language training, skills training, and access to community resources.
- Support for Youths: We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and develop relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
