Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at County Style Coffee. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and provide a positive dining experience.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and keep records of food quantities used.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player.
- Mentorship: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- On-the-Job Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
