GROUP ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 6-8 years in account management, with integrated agency team leadership experience being advantageous.
  • Proven track record of notable achievements.
  • Exceptional listening and communication abilities to ensure superior client service.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in leading client presentations.
  • Experience in team management and mentorship.
  • A proactive self-starter, capable of independent and swift thinking while upholding VML's core values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director, Client Engagement, and Account Director to inspire and guide the account group in delivering exceptional standards in leadership, insights, and execution for a major client.
  • Structure, assign, and oversee training for the account team.
  • Mentor and evaluate individual account managers, including setting performance objectives and compensation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior clients for high-level counsel and relationship/financial management.
  • Identify and coach the account team on opportunities for account development, maximizing account potential.
  • Ensure revenue realization and profitability across your account portfolio.
  • Engage in a variety of additional responsibilities as needed.
