About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Operations Manager at Safeway Tire Depot Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize operational logistics to ensure smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the efficient use of computer equipment and machinery to support logistics operations.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support logistics operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
