Food Service Manager

At Mary Browns, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience at Mary Browns is positive and memorable.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, and prepare budget and cost estimates for meal preparation and supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Mary Browns, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that our customers receive high-quality service. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
