Food Service Manager

BAIE VISTA INN LIMITED is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead a team of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee food preparation, portion control, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards.
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient service delivery.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, dependability.
