Food Service Manager

BAIE VISTA INN LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional cuisine.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in our dining room.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests feel valued and respected.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reporting to management.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Dependability and reliability, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and activity.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent movement around the dining room and kitchen areas.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of focus and concentration.
- English is the primary language of communication, with the ability to speak, read, and write in English fluently.
- 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
