Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and their beloved pets. Your warm demeanor and professional approach will create a welcoming atmosphere for all who enter our facility.

Compensation: $ - $ / hour

Note: This salary range serves as a baseline and is influenced by individual experience and progression through our CareerTrax leveling system.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Offer empathy, guidance, and support to clients during their visits. Collaborate with a team of dedicated veterinary professionals.

Essential Duties:

Greet clients warmly and maintain eye contact to foster a welcoming environment. Exhibit a friendly demeanor, demonstrating approachability and professionalism. Listen attentively to clients' needs and concerns. Communicate clearly and calmly, both in person and over the phone, ensuring clients understand all information provided. Assess each client's unique situation and the condition of their pet upon arrival. Determine the urgency of cases, distinguishing between emergency and standard situations. Direct non-patient inquiries to the appropriate team members efficiently. Confirm appointments in advance, providing clients with accurate preparation details for their pets. Offer compassionate support and resources to clients experiencing grief. Act as a liaison between clients and service agencies regarding pet remains, ensuring a respectful and thorough process.
