Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team, focusing on the Manitoba-Winnipeg region. This role is essential in ensuring the operational efficiency of our ELGA and process equipment products.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include:
- Performing assigned service tasks for ELGA and related products across the United States.
- Providing direct onsite service, support, and installation to our clients promptly.
- Engaging in sales support activities, which involve demonstrating equipment, participating in trade exhibitions, and following up on sales leads.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% as required by the role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in servicing laboratory equipment, with a strong emphasis on self-management.
- A background in the service industry, demonstrating a customer-oriented approach and professionalism.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital circuits, wiring, programming logic, electrical components, and mathematics.
- Experience in commissioning and validation is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of mechanical instrumentation.
- Expertise in water chemistry and purification technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills.
