Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business
  • Work closely with Customer Service Representatives and facility staff to ensure efficient business operations

  • Grow the volume of the crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities
  • Coach and mentor customer service representatives

  • Develop annual plans and budgets
  • Manage and apply credit and collection programs
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in a role managing or related to the sale of crop inputs
  • Post-secondary in an Ag-related, Science or Business field
  • Certified Crop Advisor, P. Ag., or related designation considered an asset
  • 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Thorough knowledge of the crop inputs and grain business
  • Working knowledge of profit and loss statements
  • Ability to network and build relationships while providing excellent customer service
