Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service. Your passion for food and cooking will be contagious, and you will be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform delegated tasks from the Sous Chef, Chef, and/or General Manager
  • Prepare food according to O&B standards, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • Maintain a prep list of station duties and follow the FIFO method to maximize freshness
  • Assist in food inventory and control, as well as receiving and storing delivered items
  • Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils, and adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
  • Adhere to WHMIS and MSDS guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • Proficiency in professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
  • Serve Safe certification
