Position Overview

A-1 Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including work surfaces, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supplies Management: Efficiently receive, unpack, and organize supplies in various storage locations such as refrigerators and cupboards.
  • Waste Management: Responsible for the removal of kitchen waste and trash.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors to ensure a safe and tidy workspace.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Experience: On-the-job training will be provided.
Work Environment

This position is located in a rural setting and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in the workplace is English.
