About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at A-1 Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Handle and store cleaning products in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
