About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at A-1 Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in a rural area.
