We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at A-1 Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a high level of hygiene and food safety.
- Handle and store cleaning products in a responsible and safe manner.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in a rural area. We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment, and we are committed to providing our staff with the training and resources they need to succeed.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
