Responsibilities of a Dental Assistant:

As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting dentists during chairside procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
  • Preparing treatment rooms for patient visits.
  • Taking and processing dental X-rays.
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Dental Assistant program
  • Registered Dental Assistant License in good standing with the dental assistant's college
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
