About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at HTL Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Assist dentists with dental procedures, such as preparing plaster models and moulds
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on dental care
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
  • Take and develop X-rays
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients
  • Invoice patients for dental services
  • Polish and buff dentures
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
