We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer, Vernon Clinic. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in clinical, educational, and research activities, and working collaboratively with a well-established team of medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide comprehensive cancer care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Participate in clinical, educational, and research activities to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in oncology and apply this knowledge to improve patient care

**Requirements:**

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Vernon Jubilee Hospital
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine
