Accounting Specialist

About the Role
MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada. We're seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our Recovery & Restructuring team.
As a trusted advisor, you'll help clients navigate challenging financial situations. Your expertise will be invaluable in managing creditor relationships, analyzing financial data, and developing strategies for debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze engagement information to support the preparation of schedules, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in compiling, reviewing, and analyzing creditor data and government registries.
- Respond to creditor and other interested parties' queries.
- Collaborate with the engagement team to develop methods for improving work processes.
Requirements
- Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Accounting or related field.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
