Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K Convenience Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales associates.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales associates are assigned to tasks that align with their skills and abilities.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new sales associates to meet the needs of the store.
- Teach Interest or Professional Development Courses: Provide training and development opportunities to sales associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Order Merchandise: Place orders for merchandise and supplies to ensure that the store is well-stocked.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other relevant information to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately counted, stored, and rotated to minimize waste and optimize sales.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of sales associates and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate the performance of sales associates and provide feedback to improve their skills and productivity.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
