About the Role

Mark It Locates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydrovac Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating hydrovac trucks and equipment to support our excavation and utility services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the hydrovac truck is in good working condition, performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Driver Responsibilities: Drive the hydrovac truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate hydrovac equipment, including vacuum trucks and support equipment, to perform excavation and utility services.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the team.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience as a hydrovac truck operator or in a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
