About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Shinobi Sushi Express. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand, ensuring they are sparkling clean and ready for use.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits, to meet our high culinary standards.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that our inventory is always well-stocked.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain their cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
