Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Time. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and check assembly of trays, establish work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
