We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Clinical Operations and Planning to join our team at Fraser Health. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong focus on service delivery, community integration, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, re-development, and oversight of Fraser Health Long Term Care Communities.
- Provide leadership in creating and implementing new models of service to optimize resident experience and systems efficiency.
- Responsible for the regional overview of effective operation and management of new long-term care services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service integration across the continuum.
- Manage and develop staff, including budgetary accountability and coordination of internal/external consultants.
- Collaborate with Executive Directors and operational directors to plan, guide, and facilitate the implementation of initiatives, programs, and services.
- Ensure the development of assigned regional services and the effective management of long-term care.
- Lead the design, planning, implementation, and integration of service delivery models for regional services.
- Work closely with local clinical and operations teams, physicians, and other health care professionals to identify and plan for present and future program and service requirements.
- Provide guidance and direction on process improvement strategies and facilitate task groups as required.
- Master's Degree in Health, Business Administration, or a related healthcare discipline.
- At least 10 years of recent progressive leadership/management experience in complex healthcare project/program planning, development, integration, and/or redesign.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care and community care services.
- Expert knowledge of strategic planning, change, and project management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Clear, Caring, and Courageous leadership practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of long-term care and community care services.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical operations and service planning.
- Expert knowledge of strategic planning, change, and project management principles.
