Pro Vita Care Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Care at our Surrey facility.
Job SummaryThe Assistant Director of Care will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within our facility, ensuring high standards of nursing practices, and fostering a safe and homelike environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care staff to deliver exceptional long-term care.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide hands-on clinical support and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage staff performance evaluations and develop quality improvement goals.
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices and promote a culture of safety.
- Provide direct nursing care, including administration of medications and medical treatments.
- Graduation from a recognized Nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM.
- Holds an active registration with the BCCNM as an RN.
- Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in clinical settings.
- Proficiency in Health Informatics systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and commit to ongoing education and professional development.
