Job Title: Director, Clinical Operations

Job Summary:

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Clinical Operations to lead the development, re-development, and oversight of Fraser Health Long Term Care Communities. The successful candidate will provide leadership in creating and implementing new models of service to optimize resident experience and systems efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, re-development, and oversight of Fraser Health Long Term Care Communities
  • Provide leadership in creating and implementing new models of service to optimize resident experience and systems efficiency
  • Collaborate with Executive Directors and operational directors to plan, guide, and facilitate the implementation of initiatives, programs, and services related to new long-term care development projects
  • Ensure the effective management of long-term care services, including service planning, implementation, operation, and evaluation
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies that cross service areas
  • Lead the evaluation of integrated teams on an ongoing basis during development phases
  • Represent Fraser Health regarding long-term care development on committees, organizations, and public relations activities, as appropriate, at local, provincial, and national levels

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Health, Business Administration, or related healthcare discipline
  • 10 years of recent progressive leadership/management experience in complex healthcare project/program planning, development, integration, and/or redesign
  • 5 years of related clinical and operational experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of long-term care and community care services
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical operations and service planning for clinical, non-clinical, and support services
  • Expert knowledge of strategic planning, change, and project management principles
