Parts Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their parts needs, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders, including over-the-counter and phone sales.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with technicians and other departments to ensure seamless parts delivery and installation.
  • Manage cash handling and other payment methods, adhering to company procedures.
  • Perform stock checks and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
  • Proficiency in CDK and/or Reynolds and Reynolds software systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
