Job Title: Junior Parts Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Parts Advisor to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Junior Parts Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their parts needs, providing accurate and timely information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that customers are aware of our entire product line and accessories, including promotions and special offers.
  • Follow cash handling procedures and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Verify parts against delivery notes, bin parts accordingly, and sign delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
  • Pack and load parts correctly, maintaining accurate records of dispatch documentation.
  • Report any stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager, ensuring prompt action is taken to rectify the situation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of parts and accessories.
  • Attend training courses and stay up-to-date on new and improved products, enhancing your knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
  • Proficiency in CDK and/or Reynolds and Reynolds software systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
