About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Imaging Equipment: Safely and effectively operate X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
  • Record and Process Results: Record and process the results of procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to healthcare professionals.
  • Manage Patient Data: Record and process patient data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data protection protocols.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a diagnostic imaging setting is an asset.
  • Certifications: Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and/or a provincial or territorial association.
