We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Director to join our team at Canadian Tire Financial Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for scaling AI across our enterprise, driving business value through data and AI products, and leading agile teams to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute AI Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the application of AI and emerging technologies across our operations, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Lead AI Enablement COE: Lead and facilitate the AI Enablement Center of Excellence (COE) squad within our business teams, driving AI proof-of-concepts (POCs) to scale in support of our larger corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders: Collaborate with senior leaders to lead, advise, and support the development of an AI roadmap in service of our company's vision.
- Define and Track KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes and customer experiences.
- Operationalize Responsible AI: Lead the operationalization of responsible AI practices within all AI initiatives, providing reporting back to the AI Enablement COE.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage multiple vendor relationships and teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of AI solutions.
- Participate in AI Governance Council: Participate as an active thought leader in the AI Governance Council of AVPs and VPs, driving strategic decisions and initiatives.
- 7-10 Years of Experience: 7-10 years of experience in data, analytics, or AI leadership, with a strong background in traditional and generative AI.
- Strategic Thinker: A strategic thinker with the ability to act as a translator between technology and the business, ensuring business value is achieved through data and AI products.
- Agile Team Leadership: Ability to lead and manage agile teams, with experience in using agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Deep Understanding of Data and AI: Deep understanding of data, analytics, and AI, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relationship-Oriented: Relationship-oriented with the ability to communicate meaningfully and influence all levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and work autonomously with limited guidelines.
