Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to join our team at Wesco International, Inc. This role will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual category business plans to achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product assortment optimization opportunities
  • Manage supplier relationships to improve operational and financial terms
  • Support marketing plan development and execution to drive business growth
  • Conduct product evaluations and comparisons to identify alternative solutions
  • Communicate key product messaging to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management
  • People management and/or product category management experience preferred
  • History of success maintaining and developing key relationships
