Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Yacov Wazana. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, assisting clients with bathing and personal hygiene, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will also plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, and shop for food and household supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check and confidential security clearance
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. You will work in an urban area, in the employer's/client's home, and will be required to work overtime as needed.
