As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing and managing automation solutions across our network environment. Your expertise in scripting, virtualization, and network technologies will be instrumental in streamlining processes, improving system reliability, and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive system maintenance plans to ensure the ongoing health and security of our network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review and refine user training materials, promoting a clear understanding of network protocols and best practices.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and implement preventative measures to mitigate potential issues before they arise.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems, providing timely solutions to minimize service disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional support to client services teams, acting as a first point of contact for technical inquiries and escalations.
  • Manage incident, change, and request processes, ensuring adherence to established ITIL guidelines.
  • Actively participate in system upgrade projects, contributing your expertise to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Cisco networking devices, VMware virtualization platforms, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • In-depth knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible and nautobot.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for developing automated solutions and scripts.
  • Familiarity with ITSM (IT Service Management) principles and DevOps methodologies.
  • Previous experience within the retail industry is a valuable asset.
  • Cisco certification is highly desirable.
