IT Network Automation Specialist

The Network Automation Administrator plays a vital role in the London Drugs IT Team, responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and management of information systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing plans for system maintenance and administration.
- Reviewing materials for user training development.
- Proactively monitoring and maintaining system health.
- Responding to and troubleshooting issues and problems discovered through monitoring.
- Supporting client support and first response procedures.
- Managing incidents, problems, changes, and requests.
- Providing project work estimates and tracking progress.
- Participating in projects involving system upgrades and deployments.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Applied Science (Computing) or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
- Understanding of information system maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting, including networking, virtualization, firewalls, cloud IaaS, and PaaS.
- Experience with Cisco, VMware, Palo Alto, and certifications an asset.
- Experience with Network Automation deployment and scripting, including Ansible and nautobot.
- Experience with automated solutions using Python.
- Experience with ITSM-based ticketing systems and DevOps.
- Previous experience in the retail industry an asset.
