Job Title: Floor Layer's Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Floor Layer's Helper to join our team at Designer Flooring. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist our floor layers in various tasks, ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of our floor layers.
  • Help medical examiners in charge with their tasks.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods, ensuring they are properly stored and secured.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic are required.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
Work Environment:

Our team works in various locations, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites. You will be required to travel to different job sites, and a willingness to do so is essential.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our workplace, and proficiency in English is required.
