Account Manager, Commercial Risk

Aon is seeking a bilingual Account Manager to join their growing team. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work virtually and/or from our Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop knowledge of client operations and risk exposures.
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls for new and existing business and provide ongoing service support to clients.
  • Respond to client and advisor inquiries either by telephone or by email.
  • Receive and process client requests and review documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals or cancellations within service level standards.
  • Manage the renewal process, including preparing the renewal documents, presenting to the client for approval, obtaining the binding order, reviewing policy documentation and delivering to the client on time.
  • Provide direction when a claim is reported or inquired upon.
  • Cross-sell and expand the existing insurance programs with our clients; develop and manage client relationships to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Ensure understanding of all Aon Facilities, including wordings, endorsements, limits, etc.
  • Bring up, as required, complex/difficult customer complaints or inquiries to the appropriate team leader.
Requirements:
  • French / English bilingualism is preferred due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
  • AMF Damage Insurance or equivalent insurance license.
  • CIP, FCIP & CRM desirable.
  • General Knowledge of Professional lines is an asset.
  • Customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
