Job Title: Client Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Services Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian Cancer Society. As a key member of our Lodge operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional client services and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the effective delivery of the Lodge Program, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a safe environment for clients, staff, and volunteers.
  • Support clients in becoming familiar with the lodge environment, including providing tours and encouraging participation in on-site programming.
  • Provide referrals to other support programs as needed, maintaining non-medical boundaries with clients and health professionals.
  • Manage program data in the RDP database and ensure effective communication with the Lodge Manager and other lodge staff.
  • Liaise with Marquise staff, contractors, and vendors to facilitate lodge operations and maintenance.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and integration activities with other functional areas.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Lodge services, Canadian Cancer Society priorities, and community health partner initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage potential conflicts and ensure access and resolution of concerns.
  • Strong PC skills and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work a 24-hour flexible schedule, including overnight shifts.
  • Organizational skills, including prioritization and time management.
  • Diploma or degree in social services, health administration, or hospitality/tourism, with three to five years of related experience.
