As a Collision Repair Shop Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering the collision repair and customer service teams towards delivering exceptional repairs and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Collision Repair Shop Manager will oversee daily operations while ensuring adherence to the CRE Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining top-notch quality and productivity, and meeting established timelines.
A Day in the Life of a Collision Repair Shop Manager at Fix Network:
- Direct and manage shop processes and personnel
- Ensure the team consistently provides outstanding customer service
- Monitor and document delivery timelines, addressing any delays appropriately
- Uphold responsibility and respect for parts, materials, and ensure repairs are executed correctly on the first attempt
- Address escalated customer concerns as needed to resolve issues effectively
- Guarantee full compliance with the CRE Quality Control process
- Follow industry standards for completing insurance documentation, estimates, and making additional recommendations
- Conduct daily production meetings to align team efforts
- Lead a dedicated team in a customer and employee satisfaction-focused environment to achieve departmental objectives
- Develop and manage an annual operating budget in collaboration with your supervisor
- Oversee the facility's operating budget
- Hold daily production meetings with the technical team members
- Supervise sublet work and production scheduling
- Track key performance indicators, including daily production metrics, to meet productivity targets and customer expectations
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and utilized safely and correctly
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or college degree in automotive body repair
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shop management or senior roles within the industry
- Comprehensive understanding of daily collision repair operations, including estimating and production scheduling
- Familiarity with insurance repair protocols and guidelines
- Proficient in Mitchell Cloud Estimating and Connect
- Red Seal certification is preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
