Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing, in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Provide social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Clean resident rooms, servers, and household common areas, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Administer medications as assigned, under the direction of the Resident Services Coordinator/Manager, and in accordance with physician orders.
  • Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to the Supervisor.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A valid Personal Support Worker diploma, certificate, or equivalent.
  • The ability to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter and a schedule of flexible hours and shifts, inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • The ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
  • Advanced proficiency in the English language, with proficiency in French considered an asset.
  • Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment, an asset.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
