Operating from a modern facility in Calgary, our aircraft are available for charter to thousands of destinations not served by scheduled airlines.

We are currently seeking a Captain, LR45 to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Type of Employment: Full-time
Location: Calgary
Position Shift: 12 days on / 5 days off
Salary/Hourly: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

* The Lear 45 Captain is responsible for the proficient and safe operation of the Lear 45 aircraft.
* Perform all required duties and responsibilities associated with the Lear 45 aircraft.
* Strictly adhere to safety regulations in accordance with company requirements, Transport Canada, and CARs (Civil Aviation Regulations).
* Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
* LR45 pilots follow a structured schedule of 12 days on duty followed by 5 consecutive days off.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

* Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence, along with a valid Instrument and Type rating (if required).
* 3,500 hours Total Time.
* 2,000 hours PIC.
* 2,000 hours Multi-Engine.
* 1,500 hours Multi PIC.
* 200 hours jet.
* Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience on the Lear 45.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service abilities.
* Possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* Exhibit good organizational and time management skills.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest's Safety Management System manual.
