Position: Bar Operations Manager

  1. Manage all facets of bar operations, including staff leadership, inventory oversight, and customer engagement.
  2. Formulate and execute bar strategies, promotional activities, and menu innovations to enhance revenue streams.
  3. Train and guide bartenders and bar personnel to deliver efficient and high-caliber service.
  4. Design and standardize cocktail recipes, ensuring consistent quality through established procedures.
  5. Oversee inventory management for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  6. Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, including ordering and stock management.
  7. Develop and price beverages, ensuring both profitability and appeal to our clientele.
  8. Ensure adherence to alcohol regulations, health and safety standards, and responsible service practices.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
  10. Address guest inquiries and special drink requests, providing recommendations as necessary.
  11. Foster a positive and productive work environment by leading and motivating the bar team.
  12. Educate the Front of House team on beverage knowledge through tastings and seminars.
  13. Build and sustain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  14. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience as a Bar Operations Manager in the restaurant sector.
  2. A minimum of 4-5 years of combined experience in fine dining or casual-fine dining establishments.
  3. WSET Level 2 certification or higher is advantageous.
  4. Demonstrated leadership abilities and exceptional customer service skills.
  5. Adept at coaching, with a disciplined and honest approach, leading by example.
