We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Training
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on various healthcare topics, including disease management and prevention.
- Experience and Skills
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with medication management and administration.
- Work Setting
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and community-based care facilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Hold a valid Health Care Aide Certificate.
- Screening Questions
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Be willing to relocate for this position.
- Have previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Hold the required certifications and licenses.
