Job Description for Cook at Mayur Fine Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Mayur Fine Indian Cuisine. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 to 44 hours per week.
