Payroll Administrator

Mandy and Raj's Valu-Mart is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions, including preparing statements of earnings and reconciling issued payrolls to bank statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and overtime information
- Prepare and submit documentation for benefits administration, such as pension plans and employment insurance
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in payroll administration
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word
