Working Hours:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview:

Quoting Responsibilities:

  • Generate and dispatch quotations to clients and Sales Representatives.
  • Utilize ERP Systems for creating Part Numbers, Bill of Materials, and routing orders.
  • Analyze customer Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to provide optimal solutions based on application needs.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding their inquiries and product specifications.

  • Regularly follow up with clients on submitted quotes, tracking progress until conversion to orders.
  • Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers for materials needed to manufacture custom conveyor belts.
  • Compile reports on processed quotations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite and interpret technical drawings and measurements in both imperial and metric units.
  • Emphasize the sale and promotion of core products.
  • Facilitate technical communication between management, production, sales, and affiliates regarding innovative uses of company products.

Order Management:

  • Responsible for generating invoices for all clients post-shipment.
  • Process and manage customer order requests via phone and email, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines.
  • Provide customer support through phone and email concerning Purchase Orders and Invoicing (pricing, general inquiries).
  • Enhance customer experience by efficiently overseeing order processing, confirming product availability, and coordinating shipping dates.

  • Accurately process order requests with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Assist clients with order inquiries and collaborate with other departments for timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer files and manage Accounts Receivable invoices and records.
  • Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance evaluation.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sales Certification or relevant experience is advantageous.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Technical Inside Sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Effective utilization of technology, tools, and information systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills.
