About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Million Miles Logistics Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Coordination and Planning: Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as plan and control budgets and expenditures.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between management, union officials, and HR consultants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile data, statistics, and other information, and prepare reports, as required.
  • Training and Development: Train staff, and develop and implement training and development strategies, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Office Management: Maintain and manage digital databases, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, with a strong client focus and attention to detail.
