About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Anoush Middle Eastern Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent client focus, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
