Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at INFINITY HVAC LTD. This role involves working with various sheet metal components essential for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field
Work Environment

The work environment may be dusty, and the position requires working at various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads for different systems
  • Design and implement ductwork systems
  • Select appropriate equipment for residential and small commercial projects
  • Measure and mark sheet metal accurately according to templates
  • Operate metalworking machinery to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces for a polished finish
  • Fit and assemble sheet metal components
  • Install sheet metal products in compliance with specifications and building codes
Specialization
  • Experience with custom sheet metal products
  • Knowledge of decorative metal sheets
Safety and Security

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
Tools and Equipment

Applicants must have their own steel-toed safety boots.

Work Schedule
