Sheet Metal Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at INFINITY HVAC LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Fabrication: Calculate heating and cooling loads, design duct systems, and select equipment for residential and small commercial construction.
  • Installation: Measure and mark sheet metal according to template, operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal, and grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
  • Quality Control: Fit and join sheet metal parts, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and overtime required.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, judgement, and team player.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Site Environment: Dusty.
  • Work Setting: Installation, service, and various locations.
