Job Summary

Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll for all employees, including calculating gross and net salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, including employee records and payroll history.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as maintaining filing systems, data entry, and preparing reports.
  • Human Resources Support: Provide support to the HR department, including personnel selection, benefits administration, and employee communications.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including payroll reconciliations and statistical data.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Language: English (fluency required).
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position in a general office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
